Larches Lodge is adjacent to our family home where we live with our three children. Our family home is next door so we are always on hand should you have any trouble or need anything. However you can be as private as you wish. We always respect your privacy but you are very very welcome to interact with us whenever you choose.

Church Stretton is an historic market town set in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town just hums with happiness. It is not unusual for total strangers to say hello and stop for a chat with you in the street - something that does not happen enough in this day and age! Trains arrive at Church Stretton rail station, hourly, on the Manchester to Cardiff main line. One stop north -Shrewsbury - is the hub for changing for Birmingham, North Wales and Chester. Further on from Shrewsbury is Crewe where there is an opportunity to get to Church Stretton from the North West, Yorkshire, the North East, Scotland and London and the south. Between Church Stretton and London the quickest route is to and from Euston via Crewe. With just the one change of train you can do the journey in three hours. Another useful route which normally takes about four hours is to and from Paddington via Newport. Choice of route often depends on your ultimate destination at the London end.
