Lytham St Anne's is an affluent area with some of the best bars and restaurants around, the beaches and pier is worth a visit, as well as the famous Lytham festival. The area is known for the golf courses and Ribby Spa. It's a family friendly area. We are only 10/15 minutes drive depending on traffic from the end of the M55, so great location to access any of the local areas such as Scorton, Garstang, Trough of Bowland and Lake District You are walking distance to the train station and all major transport links so you could visit and not drive.
