Laurieknowe Coach House has a quiet and private location but is only a very short walk to all that Dumfries town centre has to offer including many historical links to both Scotland’s bloody past through Robert the Bruce and culture with Peter Pan and Robert Burns trails to enjoy.

The town has many historical links to both Scotland’s bloody past through Robert the Bruce and more refined culture with figures such as Robert Burns, who lived, worked. The River Nith runs through the town with attractive and peaceful walks and public parks.
The cottage is a new conversion from a former coach house and provides a luxurious holiday base fully equipped for quiet nights in after a day of exploring or if you would rather then there are many restaurants, Inns and other food outlets nearby.
Dumfries is well-placed to enjoy all kinds of opportunities for wildlife-watching, walking and hill-walking, visiting gardens and exploring castles and abbeys. There is a wide variety of locations to experience, including forests and coastal areas.
