Little Orchard House is a large detached property set in landscaped gardens. It is situated a distance from the road, therefore it is particularly quiet, and has ample off road parking for all guests. During the warmer month you can dine 'alfresco' on the patio area directly outside the guest breakfast/lounge room or enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the evening sun go down.
I have lived locally all my life, therefore I have a good knowledge of area, and know all the best beaches, and places to eat! Myself and my daughter Sophie ran one of the local pubs until 2 years ago, and enjoyed the Bed & Breakfast side of the business, so decided to put our experience into practice with 'Little Orchard House'.
Malborough is only 2.5 miles from the beautiful coastal town of Salcombe and 3.5 miles from Kingsbridge. It is surrounded by beaches in all directions, and coastal paths lead to many secluded coves. Hope Cove, Thurlestone and Bantham can all be accessed by a beautiful walk along the clifftops. Buses run frequently to many of these area, or taxis are readily available. Malborough is very central to many more expensive areas, and also has a vibrant local community, with two pubs, serving local ales and food, and live music is usually on a Friday. There is a large store serving everything you require including petrol, and also a local post office.
