Ian and Kay are your hosts for your stay. Ian has lived on the farm since the age of 2. Whilst a commercial farmer, he also has an interest in rare breeds of sheep and keeps these to ensure these breeds continue to thrive in the UK. Being locals to the area ensures we can provide local tips to ensure you make the most of your stay. We love meeting all our guests and we are fortunate to see our guests returning year after year.

Situated on a working sheep farm, this lodge provides basic but comfortable accommodation with stunning views across the sea to Ireland. The accommodation is suitable for those who want to relax in a peaceful location, access some of the excellent walking, cycling and fishing available in our area or visit the attractions that Dumfries and Galloway has to offer the visitor. We have a pet exercise area on site, sell home made jams and free range farm eggs.

We are situated 3 miles along the coast from Portpatrick, a stunning fishing village which was originally the main shipping port for boats travelling to Ireland. Portpatrick offers stunning walks, with plenty of pubs and hotels to either eat in or enjoy a pint or two! We have a beautiful beach located in the bay below us, which you are able to access by walking through our fields. The whole area is extremely dog friendly ensuring your furry friend enjoys their holiday too!
