Lodge Cottage is a 500-year-old traditional English country cottage with a boutique blend. Full of charm, the historic cottage is bursting at the seams with character and original features, from mullion windows to cruck beams, inglenook fireplaces to beautifully exposed stone walls. Elegant furnishings and modern luxuries set the tone for an indulgent escape to the country.
We will be on-hand to provide guests with assistance before, during and after the stay. You will also be invited to access our exclusive app, which contains all you need to know about the property and will provide information on the local area, including recommendations on things to do and places to eat.
Lodge cottage is situated in the heart of the charming village of Castleton. Quintessential English pubs, shops and tea rooms are on the door step and the village is surrounded by some of England's most picturesque countryside, including Mam Tor, which means "the Mother Hill". A driveway at the property provides parking for up to 2 cars. There are local buses, one stop only 2 minutes walk from the cottage.
