Fantastic location to use as a central hub if you're visiting NI! Prime location if you're attending a wedding in the area. (3 min walk to the Wild Duck). Many of the top tourist attractions are a short drive away: • Games Of Thrones filming locations 35-50 mins • Seamus Heaney Centre - 10 mins • The Dark Hedges – 35 mins • Derry Walls - 50 mins • Titanic Belfast – 40 mins • The Giants Causeway – 45 mins • Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge – 50 mins • Royal Portrush - 45 mins • Crosskeys Pub - 10 mins The apartment has recently been refurbished to a high standard and comes complete with a furnished living area, bedroom and all the kitchen utilities that you could need. A top of the range air conditioning system has been fitted which can cool you down and also keep the apartment nice and cosy. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with 2x bed side drawers, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The spacious living area has a L-shaped sofa for you to put the feet up and watch Netflix on the 32 inch Smart TV. If there are more than 2 guests staying then the sofa can be easily folded out into a large sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utilities.

The neighbouring village of Cullybackey is a 15 min drive away from Portglenone. Here you will be able to hop onto a train every hour to go to Belfast, Derry, Portrush etc. There's a bus stop located a short walking distance away from the apartment with routes to Bellaghy (Seamus Heaney's Home place) as well as the shopping town of Ballymena. (20mins). Ballymena train station (The next stop after Cullybackey) is located beside the bus station and offers the same service to Belfast, Derry and Portrush. If you've hired out a car, street parking (Free) is available throughout the village. If you're staying in the summer you may be lucky enough to enjoy the annual "Big Splash" event which involves water sports, activities and games, fun days etc. The "Gig'n The Bann" is held every September and brings people from all over Ireland to a weekend of Culture, dance and traditional music. Throughout the weekend there's also concerts held in the Wild Duck Inn, were some of Ireland's best musicians and bands are on show!
