Penlea Cottage is a bijou little one bedroom semi detached single storey cottage with Kirami hot tub (no jets), set in a peaceful rural area surrounded by National Trust farmland. -5 minute downhill walk to Polperro with beach, pubs and harbour. - Park on our drive outside your door. -Woodburning stove -Huge furnished private deck and patio with barbeque and Ooni woodfired pizza oven ( extra charge for pizza oven) -10 minutes uphill walk back from village as the lane is steep. The walk is not suitable for anyone with mobility or fitness issues.

If you are looking for a rural retreat that is also a short walk to restaurants, pubs and the beach then Penlea Cottage genuinely provides the best of both worlds. Peaceful and secluded surrounded by National Trust farmland yet the nearest pub is a 150 yard walk down the hill! Please note the walk is steep in places so not suitable for those with walking difficulties or fitness issues. The last 2 miles of the drive to Penlea Cottage are on single lane roads with passing places.

Polperro is an historic fishing village, nestling in the steep hillsides of SouthEast Cornwall. There are plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops in the village as well as a tidal beach and natural swimming pool at low tide. We are situated on the South West Coast path, just a 5 minute downhill walk to Polperro. The walk back is steep and not suitable for those with walking or fitness issues.
