Lavender Cottage, a luxury chocolate box cottage with wood burner in the lounge, has a large private hot tub and Swedish sauna in the large garden. This character beamed cottage, dating back to the early 1700s, is set within the historic village of Stoke Ash, with its award winning 17th century coaching inn. Surrounded by fields, and with easy access for exploring both Suffolk and Norfolk, the Norfolk Broads and seaside are all less than an hour’s drive away.

The hot tub will be all ready for you on your arrival and can be enjoyed anytime between the hours of 08:00 and 22:00. - This is a peaceful rural area and we please ask you to be respectful of our neighbours and ensure they are not disturbed by any noise between 22:00 and 08:00, from inside your holiday home, or from your holiday cottage garden. The hot tub switches off automatically at 22:00 and reactivates at 08:00. There is a surcharge if the hot tub is activated outside of these hours, and it will be remotely switched off. Within one and a half miles the thatched Four Horseshoes is thought to be the oldest pub within Suffolk ,with a 12th century well inside its restaurant. The historic market town of Diss, with coffee shops, restaurants and pubs overlooking the mere, are within approximately ten minutes by car. Eye and Framlingham, communities with castles, independent shops including a chocolatier and butchers are close by, as are picture postcard villages. Thornham Walks, with 12 miles of woodland walks around an historic estate which welcomes dogs are within a few miles and there are many beautiful lanes and sites to explore by bicycle too which we hire to our guests. The Suffolk coast including communities of Aldeburgh and Southwold, and the Norfolk Broads too, are within an hour’s drive.
