The Beeches is a large and fully self-contained Annex adjoining the hosts family home. Deborah or Martin will generally be available to help and advise as much or as little as you need. Access is via a key safe so you don’t need to worry about late arrivals or early departures. An information pack is provided giving you tips and ideas on where to source the very best and freshest local fish, meat, vegetables, artisan bread and locally grown provisions. Provenance is important to us and we want you to have access to and enjoy the very best that Cornwall’s artisans have to offer. We will provide a welcome pack for you to enjoy on arrival but why not take advantage of our pre-order service? We will provide you with links for relevant web-sites and you then have the option to pre-order (these are contained within our guide book). We can collect these for you and have them available for your arrival so that you can make the most of your stay (there is no charge for this service). If there are items that aren’t on the websites, just ask and we will do our best to source these for you.

The Beeches is located in Mylor which is situated amongst the tree lined creeks of the Fal. The friendly village of Mylor Bridge is 1.5 miles away and has a thriving community with great facilities including an extremely well stocked general store, butcher, fishmonger, newsagent/post office and a traditional village pub. The famous 13th century Pandora Inn located on the waterside at Restronguet Passage (1.5 miles) is renowned for the quality of its food and value for money! Mylor Yacht Harbour is also located nearby (2.5 miles) and this bustling marina has a wonderful café serving fresh food (great breakfasts!) and ‘Castaways’ restaurant. Visitors have plenty of chance to get on the water here with self-drive boat hire to gently chug up the river, yacht charter and sailing school as well as a watersports centre providing canoe and stand-up paddle board hire. The area has some stunning coastal walks to take in the spectacular and relaxing scenery, wildlife and sailing activities in Falmouth Bay. Mylor is well located to explore all of Cornwall, in close proximity to the harbour town of Falmouth, the city of Truro and beaches in the local area and on the North Coast.
