Situated just yards from Inveraray Pier, this beautiful detached cottage is perfect for couples looking for a self catering break to explore the popular conservation town of Inveraray.  Tucked in the historical 'Ferry Land' area of the village, Smugglers' Cottage was the original Quay office and enjoys an enviable quiet position whilst still being in the heart of Inveraray.  The cottage is thought to be one of the oldest buildings in the town, and its character shines through, with thick solid walls, deep window sills and sash windows. The living space is open plan - ideal for socialising whilst you cook.  There is a big dining table, suitable for family meals, playing board games/jigsaws, or for planning tomorrow's adventures!  The kitchen is well-equipped, with a dishwasher; cooker/hob; microwave; fridge with freezer box; and a good selection of utensils and crockery. The velvet sofas are perfect for sinking into after a day exploring the area, and there is a smart TV for evenings in/rainy days.  WiFi is also provided to help you to stay in touch (if you want to!). Upstairs, both bedrooms are fitted with white furniture. The twin room can be made up as a superking sized on request (please ask when booking).  It also has a large chest of drawers and wardrobe, so plenty of space to store your belongings for longer stays.  The double bedroom has a chest of drawers, and a hanging rail in the cupboard just outside the door.
