Family style Home, your guest room has a key code lock outside and a lock on the inside for your security. In the guest room there is a Kettle, Tea, Coffee and complimentary items. The guest room is room only and contains a standard double bed, wardrobe bedside cabinets and tv. The house is centrally heated with an additional heater & blanket plus a ceiling fan in the guest room. The guest bedroom is on the 1st floor with views of residential back gardens, access to the guest bedroom is via stairs without banister rails so not suitable for guests with poor mobility. The property is on a main road and is in a residential area with neighbouring properties either side. All local restaurants are at least 2-3 miles away. There are a variety of takeaway food services that offer delivery to the property. Supermarkets and takeaway shops are 15-20 minutes walk. It is recommended that Taxi services are prebooked well in advance. There is a travel cot and fold up single bed available for young children & babies.
Independent host, available to assist with your enquiries via text, phone call or in person, advice about the area and facilities available locally. The hosts pets (cats/dog) are excluded from guest areas, but the property is not suitable for anyone with pet allergies.
New Ollerton is a small town, population in 2021 was 10872. Close by are Sherwood Forest (3 miles), Thoresby Park & Estate, Clumber Park, Nottingham Castle, Newark Castle, Newstead Abbey and lots more. The property is on a main bus route, within easy access to A1 & A614. There is a general mix of retail shops, food outlets plus a Tesco supermarket /Asda within 16 minutes walk or 3 minutes by car. The Dukeries leisure centre is approx 15 minutes walking distance. Amongst the several Restaurants in the area are The Alders 5 minutes by car, Dukeries Lodge in nearby Edwinstowe 9 minutes by car, The Maypole in Wellow 9 minutes by car. The majority of the fast food outlets around New Ollerton will deliver directly to the property. Taxi services are minimal and would need to be prebooked well in advance.
