We've been welcoming guests to our various establishments since 1990. First and foremost at the College Guest House on the Woodstock Road in Oxford and then later at the Marlborough House Hotel since 1999. It's our firm belief that what matters most is the service we offer to our guests whether at our bed and breakfast or at our own home. Amongst many other things, we understand the value of hospitality and receiving those we meet with warmth and grace. Our team is our greatest asset. Our cleaning team lead by Rose work non stop to ensure that each the room is cleaned to a high standard. Michael our maintenance colleague is forever painting and enhancing the hotel. The reception team are always finding ways to make our guests stay comfortable. The continental breakfast that we deliver to the bedrooms allows our guests to enjoy breakfast at their own pace. It gives us immense pleasure when we get things right and our guests are happy. Sometimes we get things wrong in true human nature and I hope our guests will be graceful to forgive us and give us an opportunity to amend things. Marlborough House Hotel is conveniently situated approximately 2 miles from city centre and ½ a mile from the buzzing and lively area of Summertown in North Oxford. We opened our doors as a home -from- home accommodation in Oxford on November 30 1990 . The idea originated from this simple concept for the benefit of mature students studying in Oxford, to include the provision of a base for discerning tourists who wish to be independent of meal times so that they can tour the Cotswolds or make trips around Oxford. Each room has a desk with a desk light to give those on courses or conferences a comfortable space in which to work. There is a round table for meals, a small kitchenette complete with a kettle, refrigerator and microwave for heating snacks. Tea, coffee, cutlery and china are provided and of course each room has its own en-suite. The entire experience and well-being of our guests is important to us at our Holistic bed & breakfast in Oxford. We look forward to welcoming you.

We are a 10 minute walk from the lively and buzzing Summertown in North Oxford. Summertown is the home to many restaurants, pubs and bars. For the keen shopper there are some wonderful boutiques and also the snazzy Unique Creations where children can get busy with creativity. Marlborough House Hotel is also a 30 minute walk away from Oxford City Centre and this is a very historical walk taking one past St. Edwards School, the Radcliffe Camera and Somerville College where Lady Margaret and Indira Gandhi were studying. We are a 10 minute walk from the stunning meadows with the river flowing through it. A perfect place to connect with nature and all its blessings. The trout pub by the river is a 10 minute drive and offers a fabulous menu with exquisite views.
