Located in Edinburgh's historic New Town and 15 minutes' walk from the city centre, the family-run McCrae's Bed and Breakfast is a traditional 19th-century property with a mix of period and modern features. The B&B also features free Wi-Fi and en suite rooms. A smart TV with free access to popular streaming services is provided in each room at McCrae's, along with tea / coffee making facilities. Some rooms have garden views and a double-sized shower. All rooms are at ground level. All towels and bed linen are made from Organic or Fairtrade cotton. A complimentary continental breakfast is served in the elegant dining room, consisting of organic and locally sourced ingredients where possible. Cooked breakfast options are available at an additional price. A piano and small library of books are also featured in the room. The shopping district of Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle can both be reached in a 20-minute walk. Edinburgh Airport is only a 25-minute drive from the B&B.

We are a traditional New Town main-door garden flat in a quiet residential area of the city, close to many great non-touristy pubs and restaurants. You and the other guests in our 3 en-suite rooms will be sharing our home with us during your stay.
I'm an Irishman who has lived in Edinburgh for over 20 years and have made this fantastic city my home.
We live in a quiet residential area just a short walk from the city centre and all tourist attractions, where you'll get a feel for the real Edinburgh, with lots of good restaurants, bars and pubs nearby, mainly frequented by local people.
