We live on the beautiful East Antrim Coast at the gateway to the Glens of Antrim. Our contemporary one bed apartment has stunning sea and countryside views. It is the perfect location for discovering N.Ireland as we are 30min drive to Belfast and 50mins drive to Giants Causeway.
The apartment is located on a small farm. We converted above our detached garage to create a self catering apartment, which is approx 550sqft. The apartment has all the mod cons and is finished to a very high standard. The apartment hosts one kingsize bedroom and an open plan living/kitchen area with sofa bed and log burning stove. It has its own private entrance via an external staircase and there is a safe place to park on the gated property.
The views of the Irish Sea and headlands of Scotland can be seen from the french doors in the open plan living area. Sunsets are pretty amazing and we really hope our guests will enjoy it as much as we do!
My husband and I have been married just over 5years. We had the privilege of building our own home a few years ago which was an extremely intense experience but totally worth while now that we can sit back and enjoy all our hard graft. We have converted above our detached garage to share with all you keen travellers.
We live on a small farm with some free range hens a horse and some bees. We have two boys who aged 4 and 2.
My husband is a retired motocross enthusiast and a keen bee keeper. I love the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
We enjoy travelling to Europe for our holidays and often travel to the Alps to ski in the winter and down hill mountain bike in the summer.
We live in an area of outstanding natural beauty and I feel very privileged to live in such a beautiful place. We are set back a short distance from the sea so we have the pleasure of the peaceful countryside whilst looking out our windows to see stunning sea views.
We are a 10minute walk away from an award winning country pub (Matties Metting House), Ballygally Castle Hotel and the blue flag beach at Ballygally.
You can borrow our bicycles and cycle to Carnfunnock Country Park which has a cafe, driving range, gardens, walking/cycling trails and an excellent Play area for younger travellers.
Larne Ferry Port is a 10minute drive from our place.
The bus and train station are a 10minute drive from our place.
Cairndhu golf club is a 5minute drive.
