Easily managed and every thing required for a simple stay. Separation of kitchen and lounge made for relaxed space and dog could stay comfortable down stairs in large space under counter. Great

Upgraded during summer 2023 with re-decorated bedroom/bed sit; brand new bathroom fitted; and kitchenette added with fridge, mini freezer, hob, air-fryer and convection microwave. This beautiful annex enables you to come and go as you please through a private entrance and enjoy the views over Yorkshire.
My husband and I grew up in the midlands and have lived in multiple places around he UK before settling in gorgeous Yorkshire. We have three children and one dog. Guests can get in touch via phone or in person if they see us around the grounds. Guests on longer stays may well meet the dog (Kingsley). He's a 65kg Great Dane. Incredibly soppy and knows the sit command. Very loving of people.
Marton is a picturesque Yorkshire village - old stone cottages, well kept fronts and surrounded by fields and countryside. Many guests stay to visit Flamingo Land, live their Bridgerton fantasy at Castle Howard (used for the Duke’s house), or discover a little magic visiting Goathloand (where Harry Potter was filmed). Millfield is perfectly situated between Whitby and York. There are local taxis and infrequent busses. Many people cycle around the lanes. Most have cars. Guest bicycles can be stored in the garage below the bedroom for security.
