Mistletoe Cottage in beautiful Village near York Mistletoe Cottage, a lovely 3 bedroom character cottage that was built 4 years ago, with private, off road parking and a sunny garden to enjoy outside eating and relaxation.. Situated in the beautiful village of Alne, just 10 miles from York and easy access to Harrogate, the Dales, the Moors and the Coast. The Area has just been awarded "One of the Best Places to Live in the UK" by The Sunday Times. Newly decorated , fully furnished, new Egyptian cotton bedding on all new mattresses.. The Living/Dining area looks out over the well tended, rear garden with it's Patio, small lawn and of course the mistletoe in the apple trees. The Patio, has a full garden set for warm, sunny days/evenings. There is a King sized bed in the downstairs bedroom, with wardrobes and an en-suite wet room. Upstairs are a Double bedroom, a Twin bedroom (both with wardrobes) and a Shower room. The kitchen has all new or nearly new appliances and plenty of items for a comfortable stay. The cottage comes with full Wifi, a 4HD Smart TV, underfloor heating down stairs and radiators upstairs. The boiler provides on demand hot water.

We love to meet people and enjoy welcoming them to our lovely cottage. As we live next door, we can have as much or as little interaction with you as you choose. Jayne previously worked in the charity sector and loves Interior Design and Gardening. Eddie worked in a number of multi national businesses and loves all sports and cooking. We have lived in the village over 20 years so can advise you on a wide range of places to eat, visit and explore whether it be on the Coast, in the Dales, on the Moors or in the wonderful city of York or Harrogate. We can be here on arrival to meet you, or alternatively you can use our key safe facility. A welcome pack will be left in the kitchen with basic essentials e.g milk, tea , coffee, local free range eggs, bread etc. to get your break started. We think we have provided everything you need for a fabulous stay in lovely North Yorkshire, but please ask if we've missed something or you have any specific requirements. We don't look for accolades but we are delighted that we've just been awarded a Booking Travellers Award Winner for the second consecutive year, with a score of 9.9.

Alne is a pretty, small, picturesque North Yorkshire village with a local pub/restaurant - The Blue Bell, Whiteley's Cafe and a Barrow Stall near the church for vegetables, jams, etc. We also have a fabulous Playing Field just 200m from the Cottage, with swings, 3 all weather Tennis courts and a hard multi use area. There are a wide range of fine dining Pubs and restaurants within a couple of miles. Easingwold, 4 miles away has a lovely Market Place and market on a Friday morning. It has a wide variety of cafes, pubs, shops, butcher, baker, a small Coop and two Convenience stores. More locally, Tollerton, just over a mile away, has an Award Winning Village shop & Post Office. On Saturday mornings an Artisan Bakers van visits the Village Hall for an hour. There are so many interesting places to visit, both near and far to suit all age groups and people types. We can provide details on specific places but also information on so many lovely walks, great cycle routes and local events.
