Hi - I’m Kate I own and manage Mistletoe Luxury Lodge with Hot tub. It is located in the heart of the beautiful Lake District, just a few minutes stroll from Lake Windermere. Mistletoe Lodge has been within the family for many years. It's a wonderful place to spend time on a holiday and with the fabulous back drop of Lakes, it makes this Chocolate-box log cabin lodge a lovely place to call your home for a few days. You will be staying in amongst The Majestic Mountains and Fells of the English Lake District. The Lodges are positioned in the heart of this wonderful National Park, near the famous Lakes and Meres & close by the Chocolate-Box Lakeland villages and towns. These are all easily accessible from the lodge. If you don’t wish to use your car, the local bus runs services from the resort entrance to all parts of the Lakes. There are an abundance of cafes, restaurants, shops and bars in Windermere Town centre or Ambleside - all within 2 - 2.5 miles (very walkable). Brockholes, the Lake District National Park Visitor Centre is 800 mts from the resort entrance. Its a great place to visit (home of Tree Top Trek) & you can get the Windermere Steam Boats from here to take you to other villages & towns around Lake Windermere. Supermarket shopping is within 2 miles, but there are more local smaller shops for quick necessities. On line shopping is available from some companies - I provide all the information in a very comprehensive arrival pack, sent out around 7 days before arrival.
