Peace is what we offer in our stylish split level apartment, part of our cottage but totally self contained. We are a 10 minute drive from Chirk but we think worth the journey for the peace & quiet when you arrive. We offer comfy beds, powerful showers and comfortable seating for you to unwind. A modern fully equipped kitchen with full-sized appliances. You can sit and eat with wonderful views -inside or out. We offer a warm place to return to if you have been walking or taking part in an outdoor pursuit and just want to spend the evening watching TV, playing snooker, darts or even play the piano. If you need to combine holiday with work you have a desk too. Our rear garden, accessed via steps offers a sunny patio with sunbeds and sitting area with big stone built BBQ and dining bench. We have beanbags and a firepit if you want to relax outside on warmer Summer/Autumn evenings.

I live with Peter my partner of 10 years in the beautiful Ceiriog Valley near Llangollen. We have lived at Ty'n y Berllan (house in the orchard) for just over 4 years and created a modern self contained apartment within our 250 year old cottage. We live with our 2 black Labradors Maggie and Georgie but you wont see them during your stay if you don't like dogs. We would like to welcome you to our house and we are here for you as much or as little as you want!

Our propertry is within the beautiful Ceiriog Valley with walks and cycling for beginners and the more adventurous. Our nearest village is Glyn Ceiriog about a mile for a shop or pub but best driven in the winter months as its a dark road to walk down but a decent walk in the summertime. Llangollen 10 mins drive and Lake Bala 40 mins- for water sports and Chester is around 40 minutes by car for a cultural day out or shopping. Chirk and Llangollen both have World Heritage places of interest for you to visit- many free of charge ! If you fancy a trip to the seaside Barmouth and Rhyl are less than 1.5 hours and many of our guests quickly access the North Wales coast and Liverpool. As you've probably gathered theres plenty to do and see uisng our apartment as your base.
