The Molesworth is a quiet country bar/restaurant in the village of Pyworthy in north/west Devon. Just two miles from Cornish boarder we are surrounded by beautiful country lanes and 10 miles from the wild Cornish coast. Bude the popular seaside town is a 15 minute drive. We sourced as much from local suppliers and we have a poly tunnel where we grow as much of our own fruit, vegetables and herbs for our kitchen and do all our own cooking on site. We are small & intimate with only 7 tables in our bar/restaurant and 3 cosy & comfortable letting rooms. 2 rooms are with bed and breakfast & 1 room is self contained with kitchen. We live on site and are always contactable if you need anything. Please note the restaurant is shut on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays but we can offer private dining if booked in advance. Breakfast is always available every morning for church view and school view as long as booked on arrival.

We save The Molesworth 10 years, it was boarded up and looking very derelict. We are just a husband and wife team who love cooking and hosting.

Pyworthy is a very sleepy village, there are no shops here. The nearest supermarket (Waitrose) is located in Holsworthy just 5 minutes drive away. We have lots of quiet country lanes around which are great for walking and cycling.
