Moore House is seriously committed to sustainability, and where possible we use locally sourced produce and eco-friendly resources to minimise our impact on the environment. When it comes to ‘nasty plastics’ we use as little as possible and ‘single use’ is not in our vocabulary.

Each room is different with its own distinct personality, designed to ensure maximum comfort and luxury for guests. We aim to provide you with a great night’s sleep as you sink into our ridiculously comfortable beds wrapped in sheets that have a seriously high thread count. Our 7 en-suite bedrooms all come with tea and coffee making facilities, a mini fridge with fresh milk & a carafe of drinking water. WiFi & smart TV, towels and complimentary vegan toiletries locally produced. We have a guest only lounge and dedicated breakfast area where we serve the best breakfasts made with local produce. We also own Porters Restaurant next door serving fine wine and excellent home cooked food and wide selection of beers, wines and spirits. Porters is open from midday till 10pm at night.

Moore House is in the heart of Hastings historic old town offering you the best of 1066 country. The beach is a 2 minute walk across the road and its surrounded by antique shops and art galleries not to mention the fabulous restaurants and bars. We have a wonderful bistro next door which serves food and drink daily from 12-10pm.
