The Coach House is located in the Eden Valley, it was built in 1861 and is set in the grounds of Morland Hall. This is the perfect place to spend time with your friends and family or as a romantic getaway! The Coach House has been designed to create the ultimate holiday home experience where each room has a unique ambience. The ground floor offers a spacious open plan kitchen, diner. A large lounge and dining area to cater for 14 people, this also has a Smart Tv and Sky, a large multi fuel stove and reading areas. In the games room you can enjoy board games and a gaming console. The games room also has 2 double sofa beds and 1 single to cater for guests. There is seating in the main hallway and 2 downstairs toilets. The Annexe is off the kitchen and is a more cosier 2nd lounge/Tv area which has another Smart Tv with Sky and a multi fuel stove. The Annexe also has a double sofa bed and a downstairs ensuite. Up the stairs in the Annexe is a mezzanine bedroom with a Kingsize bed. The stairs off the main hallway takes you to the 2nd floor where there are 3 bedrooms with Superking beds all with ensuite. There is also a seating area at the top of the stairs. The outside area has 3 patio areas with plenty of tables and seating and there is lots to do. There is a hot tub, barbecue, trampoline, outdoor games, large lawn areas, horse cart and even a minions photo shoot area!!!! There is also plenty of parking inside your own fenced area but if more is needed then you can park outside the fencing too. So just to clarify the the sleeping breakdown for 14 people, there are 3 super king bedrooms with ensuite. The annexe has a mezzanine bedroom which has a king size bed and down the stairs is a double sofa bed and an ensuite bathroom. The games room has 2 double sofa beds and one single. There are 2 separate downstairs toilets which can cater for people in the games room but for washing they would have to use one of the ensuites. We also have one travel cot.

We live in the main house which is a one minute walk to get to so please feel reassured that we are there to help in any way or if there is anything else you need. We do also offer for a small fee to heat the wood fuelled hot tub for your arrival as this can take 3-6 hours depending on the time of year. Alternatively there are logs provided for you to heat it when you arrive. The Eden Valley is a beautiful holiday location but please bring your waterproofs and your wellies!! You are surrounded by beauty on all sides, a wonderful central location for Cumbria. Recharge, relax in the Hot Tub and enjoy The Coach House 1861.

There is a walk straight from the Coach House to Morland Village which takes about 10-15 minutes or if you go the other direction there is a lovely walk around Crossrigg Estate. In the village Morland Beck is pretty to explore and if your daring you can drive over it too!! Mill Yard Cafe in Morland village is a popular choice and you can enter Morland House Gardens for free if you eat at the cafe. Larch Cottage Nurseries is nice to go for breakfast or lunch and is very near to Abbott Lodge Jersey Ice Cream which are both a 10 minute drive and are definitely family favourites ;-)) WE DO ACCEPT PARTIES LIKE BIRTHDAY'S AND OTHER CELEBRATIONS BUT WE DO NOT ACCEPT HEN OR STAG PARTIES. WE ONLY ACCEPT 2 DOGS, THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED UPSTAIRS OR ON ANY FURNITURE.
