Mount Royal è un'elegante casa in parte georgiana e in parte vittoriana con vista su Mounts Bay, St. Michael's Mount e la penisola di Lizard. Grazie ai rivestimenti murali Sanderson e William Morris, sono disponibili anche binocoli per avvistare i delfini. Servita nella sala da pranzo vittoriana su raffinate stoviglie Wedgwood, la colazione del Mount Royal comprende macedonie di frutta preparate al momento, colazioni inglesi complete e eglefino in camicia appena affumicato. A beautiful south facing period house dating back to 1785 and with an extension in 1875, Mount Royal is a third generation family run Cornish business. The house has been in the same family since 1949. Enjoying a wide panoramic sea view over the beautiful blue waters of Mount's Bay, the property is steeped in character and history and features original antique furniture, decorative plaster ceilings, a Victorian dining room and a Georgian cantilever staircase. Free car parking for all guests is provided on site in our private grounds. In the garden guests can see an abundance of beautiful hydrangeas and agapanthus.
Mr and Mrs Cox manage Mount Royal - Penzance and are third generation family members running this well established Cornish family business.
The property overlooks the seafront, the beach at low tide and Penzance harbour, with the world famous landmark of St Michael's Mount in sight and only 3 miles away to the east (5 minutes by car). The sea is within 50 metres and you can enjoy frequent sightings of marine wildlife like dolphins, seals and seabirds and also an abundance of port and maritime activities - from fishing and sailing boats to kayakers and surfers. To the west, the town centre is a 10 minute walk from the property with many local shops and art galleries and with good restaurants to eat in. The Penzance train station and bus station are conveniently just a 7 minute walk away from us connecting you to explore all of west Cornwall.
