A very warm Exmoor welcome awaits you at Myrtle Cottage, Porlock, a comfortable thatched cottage built over 400 years ago which is bursting with character and charm. Take time out to unwind in front of our blazing log fire while you plan your day. Enjoy our generous breakfast including Exmoor's best quality locally sourced produce. Let us know if you have a particular dietary requirement and we'll do our very best to cater for your needs. Myrtle Cottage has comfortable and stylish bedrooms each with modern en-suite facilities. We have free off-road parking, and drying facilities for boots etc. We welcome adults over the age of 16 be it friends, couples, walkers and cyclists etc. We are also dog friendly, but only by prior arrangement in some rooms, please enquire before booking.
Tyrone and Neil look forward to welcoming you at Myrtle Cottage Bed and Breakfast. We aim to make your visit to Exmoor as comfortable and pleasant as possible, including offering advice on places to visit, walks and where to eat, locally and further afield.
Porlock is ideally situated within beautiful Exmoor National Park, a short stroll from the sea and surrounded by stunning scenery. There are lots of things to do for all interests, whether it's walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing, bird watching, star gazing, sailing, swimming, surfing - they're all on our doorstep. We have a good choice of pubs, restaurants and tea shops to suit all tastes within an easy 2 minute walk from Myrtle Cottage.
