“The cottage is lovely, very homely, cosy and clean, also has a nice garden and is a short walk into town. Amazing view. I can never fault anything regarding this cottage I've stayed twice now and will definitely stay again.”

“Lovely clean and welcoming cottage in Inveraray - a very short work from all local amenities along the beautiful Lochside.
The back garden is also a great asset of the property as well as the new shower and kitchen/living room. Great for families.”

“Très agréable, avec un jardin derrière la maison et une place de parking privée, et surtout la vue du Loch de la pièce principale et de la chambre. C'est tout près du village, du George et du château. Parfait aussi pour aller à Oban.

With its breathtaking views across Loch Fyne to the Arrochar Alps, Newton Cottage North is located within a short walking distance of Inveraray, a historic Scottish town. With a pedigree dating back to the 1850s, and previously owned by the Duke of Argyll, the cottage is part of the town’s conservation area and stands alongside an interesting range of period properties. Recently fully renovated by its new owners, the seafront cottage has a new kitchen and new flooring in the cosy downstairs living room, with its small dining area and French doors leading to the spacious back garden. The centrepiece of the living room is its cheerful log fire set in a delightful antique fireplace.
The front window looks straight out onto the loch, with sweeping views of the hills to the north, east and south.
Upstairs there are two inviting double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The rear bedroom has views over the garden, while the front bedroom has majestic views over Loch Fyne to the hills on the other side of the sea loch.
The garden is sheltered on three sides by high walls, including a historic stone-built barn. The garden offers a safe play area for children and, is ideal for bbqs.
