This beautifully renovated 18th Century Barn has lots of character and offers an ideal country getaway for larger groups of families and friends. Enchantingly designed to provide a real country experience for up to 14 guests with special attention to preserving the character of a farm barn, dairy, and cattle housing. Consequently, we have produced a large open-plan communal sitting and dining room, and a modern galley kitchen. Two additional double bedrooms both ensuite can be added on request. If you require these extra bedrooms please let the host know. The property also works well for offsite work gatherings and can be booked in conjunction with our neighboring property (The Calf Shed which sleeps 4). We have further accommodation and professionally managed event facilities available on request. The property is located in the Waveney valley on the edge of the Norfolk Broads National Park and close to the market towns of Beccles and Bungay. It is 25 mins drive from the historic Tudor city of Norwich and also close to the wonderful North Suffolk coastline with its charming seaside towns (Southwold) and beaches (Walberswick, Dunwich and Gorleston). Enjoy miles of footpaths within the Norfolk Broads area, rent a boat, or just enjoy the peaceful countryside setting.
