We lived overseas for 10 years and always rented a holiday cottage when returning to the UK. Having seen at first hand the variable quality of some properties available to rent we decided to furnish our properties in the way we would like our ideal property to be. Both flats have comfortable Hypnos beds and mattresses, luxurious 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, goose down quilts and pillows, White Company toiletries and top quality Meile/Bosch appliances in the kitchen

5 North Parade Avenue, which we bought in 2016, consists of 2 apartments and a cafe. North Parade Avenue was described by James Stevens Curl in his 1977 book as the "most interesting street in Oxford" and is a short walk away from the centre of the City of Dreaming Spires. It has 2 pubs, several restaurants, a deli and a convenience store. The cafe is successfully let out and trades as Vineys. It is extremely popular with local residents and students alike. 5a is a 2 bedroom 1st floor flat and sleeps 2/4 guests. 5b is a ground floor 1 bedroom flat and sleeps 2 guests plus it has a sofa bed

North Parade Avenue is a fascinating street a short walk from the centre of Oxford. It has 2 pubs, several restaurants, a deli and a convenience store. There is a street market on alternate Saturdays selling a range of produce. It is only 1/2 mile to the cosmopolitan area of Jericho with its numerous bars and restaurants and less than a mile into the centre of Oxford. It's an easy walk or there are plenty of buses
