Tucked away in the peaceful folds of the South Devon countryside, Northside is a soulful hideaway near Aveton Gifford where slow living takes centre stage. With sweeping views across fields and valleys, this contemporary spacious retreat invites barefoot mornings, fireside evenings, and wild swims on nearby beaches like Bantham and Wonnel. From stargazing on the terrace to gathering around the firepit with local fare, Northside is a place to escape, reconnect with friends and family, and breathe in the quiet magic of rural life.

The lanes are narrow and winding so take it slowly and let your passenger take in the stunning scenery through gaps in the hedgerows. Drivers must watch out for cows, sheep, dogs and cyclists. Please remember to slow down for children and walkers. The hedges are not cut between March and October and can be overgrown. Wildlife rules here in Devon and the pace slows down.
