Quirky and homely and everything catered for. Thoughtful touches like a torch by the door for dark evenings and binoculars by the back window to catch the view. Lovely decor, beautiful bathroom. Slept like a log.

Quietly tucked away near the quay and town centre with plenty of private parking. The cutest bay fronted Victorian house built 1884 served the Coast Guard until 2023 for 139 years. King size Four poster bed, designer bathroom, full kitchen, separate sitting room, upside down house with views over the rooftops to the harbour mouth and Holkham marsh. Wells Coastguard rescue station was built in 1884 have painstakingly restored and converted the building to respect this 140 year history. There's a charge of 10 pounds per dog for up to 2 dogs, payable when you come
I hail from Norfolk, our young family grew up in wells and cromer and we live and now find time to sail on the North Norfolk coast and the broads, along side our grown up family, two grand children and our two pointers, we are happy to help you find your way around.
Wells is the loveliest seaside fishing port town by popular consent: come in the quieter months and have the place to yourself, or enjoy the weather of high season, busy there is plenty of beach to go round! The town has 5 pubs, a couple of wine bars and lots of cafes, Staithe street has a host of interesting independent shops, great butcher, great greengrocer, great bakery: all local produce. North Norfolk enjoys a frontage of tidal salt marsh with the beach beyond stretching for miles; Wells beach stretches west to meet Holkham beach, and to the east Wells and Stiffkey marsh conceal the remotest beaches beyond.
