Orchard View B&B is situated in the village of Whitminster and provides a modern, spacious suite with a private entrance, offering privacy, good facilities and comfort with a homely feel. You can relax and feel at home in the lounge area. The bathroom offers you the option of a deep bath or rainfall shower with a selection of toiletries provided. Towels, hairdryer and an iron and board are provided. The kitchenette is where you will find breakfast and refreshment options and you are welcome to use the fridge for your own nibbles, drinks or lunch supplies. Our tasty continental style breakfast offers a choice of cereals, pastry, fruit, yogurts, juice, and more, with the flexibility for you to prepare and eat breakfast as early or as late as you choose. Tea and coffee with fresh milk is in ready supply throughout your stay. Wi-fi is free and there is free parking on site. Orchard View B&B is just a short stroll away from a plentiful choice of places to eat, shops and beautiful walks. It is within easy reach of the hustle and bustle of the cities and towns nearby; notably Gloucester and Bristol Cities, Cheltenham Spa, Forest of Dean and many smaller Cotswold towns and villages
A leisurely stroll will take you to the village shop, local pub and restaurant, garden centre and cafe, fish and chip shop, and Indian or Chinese restaurant and takeaways, giving you a mouth watering array of options for eating out, or in. There are lots of lovely walks and cycle routes nearby and along the canal or river. For something different visit Minchinhampton Common to see the cows that roam freely there during spring and summer, or time it right to marvel at the River Severn Bore, which is a magnificent natural event. There is a fabulous choice of shopping at Bristol's Cribbs Causeway (The Mall) or Cabot Circus, Gloucester Quays and Cheltenham, or if you prefer to mooch around our lovely Cotswold Towns, visit Cirencester, Nailsworth, Tetbury or Stroud. The historical City of Gloucester offers lots of choice for things to do and see. The Forest of Dean offers walks and activities e.g. Go Ape, cycling, horse riding, canoeing, rock climbing. Bourton-on -the -Water is a beautiful Cotswold village where you can shop, relax and visit local attractions. Perfect for a quiet getaway or a more active break. Great for business travellers too.
