A unique and peaceful get away awaits you at ‘Osprey Hide’. Our converted steading has open views over farmland and woodland that stretch over Findhorn Bay. This is a great spot to watch the Moray Ospreys as they range over the Bay. Outside you will find a private spa tub, patio and BBQ area. We are close to Forres and Findhorn Bay is a short walk / bike ride from the door. There are lovely country walks all around us.

I have lived in Scotland for many years now and run an adventure company and rescue training business here. We live in Moray and love the beaches here and access to the Cairngorms national park and highlands. We wanted to share which with guests and converted a cottage in our grounds to a self catering let - osprey hide which Faye and I run together.

Beautifully located by Findhorn Bay with nature abundant from the door step. We are surrounded by lovely countryside walks and are a short walk on a country lane to Culbin woodland and to the Bay and ‘ secret’ beaches. Yet only 2 miles from Forres by car or bike along the River towpath into town. Ample private off road parking. Great biking area with many local trails from the door. Forres has a good public transport service with buses around the local area and a train line along the coast which has a stop at Inverness Airport which makes for easy transfers which are available on request. Borrow our canoe and paddle from the house to findhorn village soaking up the surrounding nature and wildfowl
