Overleigh Cottage is a NEW addition to a unique set of holiday homes in Chester owned and run by ‘City Escapes’. Please do review our 9.5 rating for Jungle City Apartment, our sister residence in the heart of the city, where you will get a flavour of what we are about and what you can expect from our New Cottage.
Overleigh Cottage overlooks the beautiful St Mary's Church, and sits just back from the Chester river in the suburb of Handbridge.
The property boasts warmth and character and has a courtyard style garden, perfect for alfresco dining.

We launched our 1st property in the city 'Jungle City Apartment' in 2022 and have absolutely loved creating a space that guests from across the globe have enjoyed.
We live locally ourselves and love all that Chester has to offer, which we hope we have brought a little piece of, for you within Overleigh Cottage.
Handbridge is located just the other side of the Chester Dee River and has many Chester landmarks, one of which is St Marys Church just opposite the Cottage.
There is also a butchers, several great pubs and shops and a park at Edgars Field near the river, for children to enjoy.
