L'Oxford Riverside Glamping è situato all'interno di una proprietà privata adiacente al fiume Tamigi. L'Università di Oxford dista 4,3 miglia ed è raggiungibile tramite autobus diretti che partono dall'ingresso principale. In loco è disponibile un parcheggio privato gratuito. Ogni tenda a campana è dotata di un letto matrimoniale, riscaldamento elettrico, punti di ricarica e un braciere esterno. In loco sono presenti servizi igienici e docce per uomini e donne, nonché un'area esterna per il lavaggio dei piatti e un'area cucina comune con 3 forni a gas, 3 frigoriferi e un forno a microonde. Sono forniti lenzuola, utensili da cucina, posate e borse dell'acqua calda. Sono disponibili anche due brandine, ma se desiderate utilizzarle dovrete portare la vostra biancheria da letto. L'Oxford Riverside Glamping dista 10,7 km dal Blenheim Palace e 25,6 km dal Bicester Village. Il bacino idrico di Farmoor, raggiungibile in 22 minuti a piedi, offre la possibilità di praticare vela e windsurf. Sono disponibili anche biglietti giornalieri per la pesca alla trota.

Set within an Area of designated Outstanding Natural Beauty just 4 miles outside the city of Oxford and situated within its own grounds adjacent to the River Thames, Oxford Riverside Glamping is an ideal destination for a tranquil holiday, romantic weekend away, or as a base for exploration. Each bell tent sleeps up to 4 people and is equipped with rustic furniture, rugs, a candle chandelier (as well as other lighting) and a double bed dressed with pillows, duvets and crisp white bed linen. Hot water bottles and extra blankets are provided, but we do advise that you bring some warm clothes. Two camp beds are also provided, but you will need to supply your own bedding should you wish to use them. Outside each tent is a seating area and fire pit. Cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils are all provided, as well as firewood and charcoal. We do ask that you bring your own food and drink, towels and bathroom essentials Just a short walk from each tent, there are ladies and gents toilet and shower facilities, an external wash-up area, a covered cooking area with two ovens and secure mobile phone charging points. Please note, we do not accept Stag or Hen parties.
With stunning countryside to enjoy, we are located directly on the Thames Path, with beautiful riverside walks, fishing in season and birdwatching. Opposite lies Wytham Woods, an area of ancient woodland as well as a site of special scientific interest. Outside the main gate is a direct and frequent bus route to the centre of Oxford, the 'city of dreaming spires'. The world-famous university is only 10-15 minutes away. Within walking distance is Farmoor Reservoir, which boasts year round sailing and windsurfing as well as a wealth of wildlife to enjoy. Day passes are also available for trout fishing. Attractions nearby also include Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon and Bicester Village. London, Bath and Stonehenge are also within easy travelling distance. There are several public houses, restaurants and local shopping all within walking distance of the house.

A self check-in option is available at this property. Guests can still also choose to be personally greeted upon arrival, with social distancing measures in place.

Please note that the property can only accept bookings from family groups when hiring a maximum of 3 tents. The entire site will need to be exclusively hired in order for the property to accommodate any more than this.

Bookings from ‘Hen’ parties and other adult-only groups (numbering over 5 people) can only be accepted on the condition that they hire all glamping accommodation and utilise the entire site.

Large adult groups that attempt to get around this policy by booking several tents under different names will not be accommodated. The property reserve the right to ask guests to leave at any time and without a refund should this be confirmed to have happened.

The property is unable to accept full site bookings for July and August. April, May, June and September will still be available for exclusive hire.
