This large, 2 bedroomed caravan( 2006) is in an idyllic spot, beside our milking herd (evenings). We renovated the caravan in 2019. It has an ensuite and a bathroom with a full sized bath. It boasts a good sized kitchen, including a dishwasher. The living room has a large tv and amazon fire stick. We also provide books and games to entertain younger travellers, as well as a cot and highchair. There is also a trampoline to use between our 2 caravans. Upon arrival we include tea, coffee , milk and sugar so you can enjoy a cuppa! A short 10 minute walk from Colyton. A 5 minute drive to Seaton and 15 minute drive to the stunning coastal towns of Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Sidmouth . Colyton (Devon’s most rebellious town) in AONB boasts some lovely places to eat within walking distance ( Gerrard, Kingfisher) and others only 5 minutes drive (Wheelwright, Ship) and the tramway is only a short walk away. River Cottage is also a 10 minute drive from Colyton. We live bedside a working dairy farm, we have wonderful views of the Umbourne Valley . Bed linen- you are welcome to bring your own or I can make beds up for arrival for an extra fee. Please bring towels. One pet per stay is welcome but we do charge a pet stay. If pre approved we do accept 2 small dogs. I can only contact after booking is made as booking don’t allow me to add here. I am a primary teacher and my husband James is a farmer and retained fire fighter. We have 6 children. We love animals especially our pony, dogs and geese. We like to make the most of living in a beautiful part of the countryside. We love good food, walks and love spending time at the beach. We also do a lot of fundraising, especially for childhood cancer and love being part of the local community. We live in the house below so please feel welcome to come and ask any questions or let us know if you need anything but we aim to give you peace and quiet!

Myself, my husband and our 5 children live in the house below the caravan so we are available for any questions or advice about the best places to visit or eat during your break. The farm is a short walk down the lane. You are welcome to explore and meet the animals , see the robot milkers and watch the calf feeding. There are also some wonderful walks out past the farm across the vallley. We are a short 10 minute walk into the town. The garden centre and the tramway are all in walking distance as well as parks and local pubs, great for eating out. Our fabulous outdoor seating and BBQ (April to Oct) are a great addition to your stay. We are in an ideal location to reach the fantastic local beaches and towns. There are also plenty of family days out; Seaton Wetlands,Axe Valley Wildlife Park, Pecorama, Crealy, Exeter Cathedral and Escot. We are just out of the town of Colyton- a short 10 minute walk. There are buses which link to Axminster Train Station and the buses access most local areas.
