Leys View Cottage is a delightful 16th-century Cotswold property located in the beautiful village of Lower Swell, only a mile from the famous market town of Stow on the Wold. Beautifully presented throughout following an extensive renovation, the cottage sleeps 8, with 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms. The property has all the character and charm of a traditional Cotswold home accompanied by a modern and stylish interior. On arrival guests will be welcomed by a delicious hamper, including locally sourced wine from Poulton Hill vineyard and Cotswold fudge. Located only a 2-minute walk to the centre of the village, Leys View Cottage looks out over open fields to both the front and rear and is only 200 metres to the highly regarded local pub, the Golden Ball, which has a great reputation for good food and locally brewed ales. Lower Swell is a delightful village that is characterised by its plethora of beautiful traditional Cotswold stone properties and offers guests at Leys View the opportunity to enjoy country walks directly from the cottage. Situated only one mile away from the bustling town of Stow on the Wold the cottage offers a perfect central base from which to explore the Cotswolds. Dating back to approximately 1595, the cottage has undergone an extensive and now offers the traditional features of log burners, beams and stone mullion windows married with a contemporary kitchen and newly fitted bathrooms. The property now boasts 4 bedrooms, 2 bath/shower rooms and 2 reception rooms.

Located in the beautiful village of Lower Swell, the cottage is only a 2 minute walk from the centre of the village and only a mile from the famous market town of Stow on the Wold. The Golden Ball Inn, a classic and popular country pub is a 2 minitue walk away. It has a great reputation for good food and locally brewed ales. The bustling market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, with its many eateries and boutiques, is just a mile away, and can be walked to along a footpath from the village. Tesco Superstore is less thank a 10 minute drive away. The Co-op is about a 5 minute drive, both located in Stow on the Wold. Lower Swell is a delightful village conveniently situated in the heart of Cotswold villages, Stow-on-the-Wold (less than a mile), Lower Slaughter (2 miles), Bourton on the Water (5 miles), Moreton on the Marsh (5 miles), Broadway (10 miles), Cheltenham (14 miles). You can enjoy lovely country walks directly from the cottage or use it as the perfect central base from which to explore the Costwolds.
