The flat is located on the first floor and as you enter, you will be greeted by William Morris Arts and Crafts influenced design and style. William Morris was an English textile designer, artist, and writer who was a key figure in the Arts and Crafts movement during the late 19th century. From the hallway, you enter into our living/dining area with comfortable sofas and space for four, decorated with Morris's floral patterns. The living room is equipped with a smart TV (excluding terrestrial channels), and a collection of games, books and information about the surrounding area for you to enjoy during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and all the necessary cooking utensils, including Nespresso coffee machine. Both bedrooms feature comfortable double beds and wardrobe space and are adorned with Morris's striking wallpaper. The bathroom has a walk-in spacious shower. The location of the flat is within a stone's throw of the town centre and located on a main road, so you will hear noise from the road. The flat also comes with two designated off-road parking spaces, a rare and valuable asset in Ludlow, making it convenient for guests travelling with their own vehicles. The town is significant in the history of the Welsh Marches, close to Wales. It is located 28 miles (45 km) south of Shrewsbury and 23 miles (37 km) north of Hereford, on the A49 road. The town is near the confluence of the rivers Corve and Teme. The oldest part is the medieval castle and walls. Dating from the late 11th century after the Norman conquest of England. It is centred on a small hill on the eastern bank of a bend of the River Teme. Situated on this hill is Ludlow Castle and the parish church, St Laurence's, the largest Church in the county. From there the streets slope downward to the River Teme, and northward toward the River Corve. The town is in a sheltered spot beneath Mortimer Forest and the Clee Hills, which are clearly visible from the town. Ludlow has many pubs, restaurants and cafes that suit all tastes and are all within easy walking distance. Ludlow has held street markets since the twelfth century. Nowadays, a traditional open-air market takes place in the town square (Castle Street) every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the year.
