Just a wee note to tell you about ourselves and to welcome you to The Bothy at Newlands of Budgate. We started our small holiday let business – back in 2015, while I was still working in the oil and gas industry and Caroline worked as a hairdresser from home. Since then, we’ve managed to grow the business to a point where we could quit our respective jobs and concentrate solely on providing top quality accommodation for our guests. We both love our home country Scotland. Its beauty, rugged scenery and spend a lot of time outside exploring the playground we get to call home, while hill walking or canoeing to mention a few of our pursuits. Always happy and would love to share our knowledge of the local area and further afield. We want your stay to be absolutely terrific and will work with you to ensure an excellent visit. The Bothy is newly built and is a peaceful retreat for two people. It’s based in the grounds of the main property surrounded by woods and wildlife. It has an ensuite shower and private wood fired hot tub. The open plan living space comprises a well equipped kitchen space, breakfast bar, lounge and king size bed. Private parking. Linen, towels and hot tub robes all included. The village of Tornagrain is five minutes away and boasts a well stocked village store. Inverness airport is just 10 minutes away. The Bothy is completely self contained and will provide you with modern comforts while your away from home. The open plan space is heated with a wood stove and your own well stocked wood shed ensures you will never run out. The bedroom and breakfast bar sockets contain USB ports for ease of charging your devices. On the covered deck are a couple of chairs and a table for alfresco eating.

As we are located out in the country side a car is required, but not essential. Please contact us and we can provide the number to our friendly taxi driver who knows the place and can take you straight here! The closest bus route is in the village of Croy - 3 miles away. You will find ample parking on arrival.
