Kindly Light Beach House is a beautiful detached bungalow just a stones throw from the beach in the pretty village of Borth-y-Gest. The property has a fantastic private decked area all around, with outdoor seating and beautiful views of the sea and mountains beyond. The beach house is furnished to a very high standard throughout, perfect for those looking for a boutique style self catering accommodation. Whether a relaxing break for two or a family beach holiday, this location cannot be beaten! The space With coastal vibes throughout, the beach house is the perfect seaside escape . The lounge area is a stylish space to relax, the corner sofa is super comfy and the smart tv enables you to watch all your favourite movies. The kitchen is well equipped with washer/dryer and microwave. Our lovely farmhouse kitchen table is great place to spend quality family time, you'll find a good selection of games in the cupboard. The master bedroom with it's fresh white linen and beautiful soft furnishings is a peaceful place to get a good nights sleep. The second bedroom has two single beds and a second tv to save having to compromise. The shower room has a nice hot shower and fluffy white towel. Finally, the icing on the top- our huge surrounding decked area. We are so lucky to have such great private outdoor space. It is a joy to have a morning coffee on the bistro table looking towards the bay . It is equally lovely to sit around the back deck, a great space for al fresco dining or an evening spent watching the stars with a glass in hand. If you're lucky, you may even get to hear our resident owl. Other things to note You may park directly outside the beach house to load/unload, then your car must be moved to either the free on street parking (very close- 10 secs walk) or the carpark (less than 1 minute walk).

The beach house is self check in. We will be contactable by phone during your stay and have someone local who you can contact in case of emergency.

Borth- y-Gest is the hidden gem of North Wales. With spectacular coastal and mountain scenery and pretty pastel coloured houses framing the beach, it is one of the most beautiful villages in Wales. There are fantastic coastal walks from the village that take in the most breath taking surroundings and for nature lovers, a short walk behind the beach house is an ancient forest with the most amazing view of both sea and mountains. The beaches at Borth-y-Gest are perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking with lots of little coves to explore. The beach and local area is very dog friendly. The village is blessed with a good choice of places to refuel. There is the cafe serving a lovely cooked Welsh breakfast in the mornings, a good coffee shop where you can get a nice piece of cake or a local made ice cream. The village also has two excellent restaurants; Seaview Restaurant has a great menu to cater for the whole family serving food and drinks with a view. Bae Borth is our fabulous bistro on the bay, the delicious meals are of local produce. It has a varied selection of Snowdonia cheeses and does a delightful cheese board along with other tasty nibbles. It's a really lovely spot to have an early evening drink. The village is within walking distance to the popular town of Porthmadog with it's many shops, cafes, pubs and fish and chips. The steam train to Blaenau Ffestiniog starts it's journey in Porthmadog and can be seen puffing away across the bay. A short drive from Borth-Gest will take you to the heart of Snowdonia, a fantastic place to explore. There is a regular bus service that stops in the village and takes passengers the 5 minute journey to Porthmadog. Porthmadog itself is has a well linked bus service and the train stops in the town centre.
