From the impressive open plan living space, French windows look out onto a wild flower meadow, truly bringing the outside in! The delightful garden and patio area provide a lovely spot for a relaxing drink, or perhaps some alfresco dining after a busy day exploring. The pretty Derbyshire village of Great Longstone is set in a wonderful location in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The village is flanked by Longstone Edge, with Bakewell and Chatsworth House close by. There are two traditional village pubs, a shop, 18th-century stone cottages and a market cross that is situated on the delightful village green. The Monsal Trail runs through the village and provides 8½ miles of scenic, traffic-free walking and cycling, with the spectacular viaduct at nearby Monsal Head and several tunnels along the route to keep the whole family interested.
