Welcome to 41 Mill Village, a picturesque Cotswold stone cottage in Lower Mill Estate. This cozy retreat is ideal for families, couples, and friends, offering a unique blend of traditional charm and modern amenities. Enjoy a private wood-fired hot tub, the luxury of the ArtSpa with its year-round heated swimming pools, eco-pool, gym, and spa treatments. Nestled in a 550-acre nature reserve, it’s the perfect spot for outdoor adventures in the Cotswolds. Our eco-friendly cottage features solar power and a private electric car charger. The interior boasts a stylish open-plan living area with a large Inglenook fireplace, a 40" 4K Smart TV, Sonos sound, and superfast broadband. It comfortably seats eight, with a spacious deck for dining al fresco. Sleeping up to eight, the accommodation includes two king-size rooms with lake views, a twin, and a bunk room, ensuring a restful stay. Modern conveniences like a fully equipped kitchen and free ultra fast Wi-Fi are provided to make your stay seamless. 41 Mill Village offers the perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and sustainability.
We bought Mill Village to get away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life and provide us with a walking and cycling playground on our doorstep. We rent direct. We don't use agents (who often take 30% of the value of a booking) meaning we can constantly re-invest earnings back into the Cottage. Spa access, new log burner, wood fired hot tub... all the fun things we and our guests want! We make Mill Village completely available to guests whenever we're not using it so you too can enjoy the peace and quiet (and watersports!) to be had within the Cotswold Water Park All guest booking and pre-arrival comms are managed by Rob, the owner. All guests are met by James who owns a property at Lower Mill and is available to help guests with any questions and queries during their stay.
41 Mill Village is set in the exclusive Lower Mill Estate; a 550 acre private nature reserve in the centre of the Cotswold Waterpark. Getting to us Mill Village is 1.5hrs from West London and 15 minutes from the Swindon Junction (15) of the M4. Nearby Kemble train station is only an hour and a half's service to and from London Paddington. A service runs hourly to Paddington during both the week and weekends and Kemble station itself is only 3 miles from Mill Village. Close by Somerford Keynes - 1 mile, 10 minute walk Cirencester - 6 miles, 15 minute drive Swindon - 15 miles, 30 minute drive Cheltenham - 25 miles, 35 minutes Bath - 30 miles, 1 hour Whilst only a 10 minute taxi from Kemble train station on the London Paddington mainline (1.5 hours) we recommend guests bring a car (one single dedicated parking spot, overflow parking for other guests). Everything on the estate is accessible by foot, bike or watercraft!
