The house was built in 1720's, and was originally called Swallow House after Mr Swollew who owned the property back then. All the old maps will display our house which was one of two houses on CastleHill. People traveling from London to Bristol stopped here for the night. Castle Hill is located in central Reading, an affluent neighborhood which is only a short 10 mins walk away from everything the Town Center has to offer. Reading is one of the Top 3 safest places to live in the UK. The bus stop is 30-second walk from our house for buses into nearby Towns and Villages, Football Stadium, Churches, Pubs and Restaurants in Reading Town center. The bus stop is in front of our house. The Rail station is a 10 mins walk, or 6 mins bus ride through Reading town. The house has everything from pots, crockery, spices, tea, dustbin bags, extra bedding, space to accommodate an extra guest, extra mattresses, household items, cooking items, cleaning, BBQ, outdoor fire pit, birthday or anniversary celebration, early check-in, late check-out etc. Anything to make your stay special. A few of these may have an extra cost. Please message me. We can arrange for Private transport in terms of Airport pick up and drop off at an extra cost. Baby or Pet sitting services are available at the property at an extra cost.
