Post Office Cottage is a modern styled property, which is a newly renovated self catering cottage for 2024. Situated in the village of Dufton, near Appleby, Cumbria.
The perfect location to relax, recharge and explore; a tranquil place for everyone to unwind at this peaceful cottage, nestled on the Pennine Way. Also an ideal base for exploring the Cumbrian Pennines including the popular 'High Cup Nick' a U shaped Valley in an area of outstanding natural beauty; or a short 25-40 minute drive from the admired Lake District.
Guests will have access to the full property and enjoy a super-king with ensuite and 2 kingsize bedrooms as well as a family bathroom with bath/shower. Enjoy, cosy home comforts including a wood-burning stove, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and TV.
There is space for 2 vehicles on the driveway and further on-street parking if required.
The Village has both a local shop 'Post Box Pantry' (Open from Easter-October) serving a selection of hot food and refreshments. and local pub 'The Stag Inn' serving a selection of home cooked meals (Booking for pub food is essential). Appleby is the local town, situated 3 miles away.
