With rolling farmland on your doorstep and the Jurassic Coast within easy reach, there are plenty of places to explore throughout the year. The property is situated in the middle of beautiful ancient woodland. It has views looking out over the Blackdown Hills AONB and over the field where our pet goats live! Renovated to a high standard, Quantock Barn is a modern barn conversion offering the ultimate base for a group of six seeking a relaxing retreat to the countryside. The attractive open-plan living space is beautifully appointed with contemporary furnishings and stylish features, creating a luxurious space that’s perfect for the whole family. The first of the bedrooms is a spacious king size and has a stunning ensuite bathroom with a free-standing bath and a walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms are both king size with ensuites. One of these bedrooms can be arranged into a twin upon request. The property has all the practical things you need for your stay including washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The kitchen is fully stocked with a wide range of pots, pan and cooking utensils. We provide plenty of towels, tea and coffee, and also a Welcome Basket on your arrival which includes local milk, butter, bread and eggs. Make the most of the evening with dinner out in the garden and enjoy the fabulous views across the valley. Or take a dip in the hot tub to enjoy the stars. One well-behaved pet is welcome and dog blankets, bowls and bed are also provided upon request. Please note that the garden is not enclosed and it is also next to the field where our goats graze. We have been hosting guests at Quantock Barn for just over three years and enjoy welcoming families to the area. We are huge animal lovers, hence all the rescue animals on site (goats, ducks, a dog and cat) and just really love being in the peaceful countryside. Whilst we are on hand to help with any enquiries during your stay as we do live on site, we also are able to give you privacy as the property can't be seen from our separate garden area. We find this is the perfect combination for many of our guests and means you can really make yourself at home! We do also like to check the hot tub during the guests' stay but will always send a message to check when is convenient.

Located in the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near the market town of Honiton in East Devon. From this location you can enjoy both countryside and the coast, with plenty of walks nearby as well as the coastal towns of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth only 30 minutes drive away. If you are like us and love local, fresh food then there is an endless choice of great restaurants, cafes and farm shops to try in the local area. Let us know if you would like any recommendations! Quantock Barn is located between the towns of Honiton and Axminster, both of which have train stations. Taxis are available from these stations but may need to be booked in advance. We do recommend having a car to get around whilst staying with us as we are quite rural and this is the easiest way to get around. There is plenty of on site parking and also an EV charger.
