This is a gorgeous shepherds hut set in its own garden with all mod cons, and solar panels supplying electricity, a huge shower and efficient woodburner with wood provided. It’s a “get away from it all” type of place. Views out over the rolling Devon countryside to the sea , if you are wanting commercialised, with many facilities, this isn’t the place for you.
Hartland village is a 20 minute walk through field and woods and a walk to the coast at Hartland Quay takes about 50 minutes.Please note, the restaurant that is stated to be 200yds away ( below) closed along time ago. The nearest eateries are at Pattard restaurant or in Hartland Village which is a hilly , but lovely, 20 minute walk through woods and fields.
We are usually around on site, but we are non intrusive to our guests. Here if needed, if not, we will leave you alone to enjoy your break in our wonderfully peaceful area of outstanding natural beauty.
Hartland Abbey is a short walk or drive . Hartland Quay and Hartland Point are nearby, as is Spekes mill waterfall, the village of Hartland, a 20 minute walk and Clovelly is a short drive away.
Further afield there are the larger towns of Bideford, Bude, Westward Ho!, Holsworthy, Barnstaple, Torrington.
