The Tower
If you are looking for somewhere unique to stay, then you'll love this quirky, quaint, Grade II town house, situated in the heart of Maldon. This historic property, formally a smoke house in the mid 19th century, has been modernised with all mod cons, an Art Deco style living room and is perfect for a romantic stay for two. On the ground floor you will find a modern kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook yourself a delicious meal. On arrival you can make yourself a coffee using the Nespresso coffee machine and enjoy the complimentary cake supplied for you! You'll also find the bathroom on the ground floor which has a fabulous shower supplied with decadent toiletries. There is a heated towel rail you can use to warm your towels before showering and cosy underfloor heating. Walking up the first set of stairs you will find a rich Art Deco style living room, here you can enjoy watching a movie on the Blu-ray player or using your preferred apps to watch one of your favourite shows on the LG Smart TV. Why not enjoy a cooked meal and a few glasses of wine on the pull up dining table. The next set of stairs will take you up to the second floor where you will find the luxurious bedroom, with the finest linen, freshly steam ironed, ensuring you the best nights sleep.
Having years of experience in hospitality and an interest in interior design, I finally decided to put my talent and creativity into my very own holiday home. I have travelled all over the UK, seeking unusual properties and experiences, and when I saw this quirky townhouse I fell in love with it instantly. I could invision it becoming the perfect place to stay when visiting Maldon, for its quirkiness and High Street location. I'm very passionate about all animals and I have spent the past 12 years rescuing rabbits, I always felt they were the last to be thought of. In my spare time I enjoy going to festivals, live shows and watching the latest movies at the cinema.
There is no parking outside the property, the closest car park is Butt Lane carpark which is approximately a 3 min walk. You are within walking distance of the local shops, boutiques, variety of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. You can enjoy a stroll through Promenade Park and in the summer you can hire a beach hut for the day and enjoy a romantic picnic together. There is so much for you to enjoy in and around Maldon making it the perfect getaway.
