I love sharing my home with others when I am there, and it’s been an open house to family, friends, and strangers coming on student exchange and volunteer programmes. It is a warm, happy, and peaceful place, and as I travel further afield and stay less often, I would like others to enjoy it as much as I have .

Haslingden is very well located for all kinds of activities, including leisure and culture. History, food, music, and art. The AO arena and heaton park are a short drive or bus ride away for serious concert goers, and st Mary’s chambers is an upcoming music venue in rawtenstall, just over a mile away. Horse and bamboo theatre, real ale, east Lancashire railway, the temperance bar, various Pennines, and canal or riverside walks are on the doorstep. Whittaker Museum and Park, Haworth Art Gallery, and the famous bury market offer culinary delight. Manchester and the Trafford Centre offer easy and accessible shopping and entertainment experiences and, of course, the famous football experience . In the opposite direction, Blackpool, morecambe and the Lake District are very easy to reach by car for trips further afield . There is lots to see and do, and the area offers an eclectic mix of activities amongst very friendly local people .
