Floor to ceiling windows looking out on country side you may choose to relax indoors and star gaze at night with a 3 acre garden to roam and endless walks to enjoy. This one bedroom spacious apartment is self contained, with its own entrance on the gable end of Home at Last. Dog friendly too. The king sized bed is snuggled up in the upper deck of the vaulted 4m ceiling space, with full views outside. It may take you a while to actually get out of your bed. In the open plan living area we have full kitchen facilities if you fancy cooking, breakfast bar seating area and a generous living space that faces out the windows on these wonderful views. With Mood lighting and in ceiling speakers, powered by a sonos system. You may just find nothing better to do than chill with some music staring out the windows. We have 2 small kayaks that are free to use at your own risk and transport. We also have two dogs on the property Archie and Alba, both German Shorthaired Pointers. Friendly and have been known to come and say hello. So just let us know if they are an issue or you are not a fan of dogs. We understand. They look forward to meeting other dogs too but again will keep them away if they are an issue to your dog.

We have some of the best drinking water in the world, please drink as much as you can straight from your tap. My well comes from 120 metres below the ground. Fill yer boots, your body will thank you later. Loch boat trips can be made available in with our 22ft V8 sports cruiser. Please enquire before booking your stay for availability. Although this is self catering there is local food products that can be arranged upon agreement to be put in the apartment for you. There is the local hotel pub which is around 1/2 mile walk up the road where they have an excellent selection of beers and whiskeys. Their food I have to say aswell is tremendous and its an excellent place to spend the evening after a long day walking.

Keep your eyes open and you will easily watch deer, hares, and our resident Buzzard making daily appearances, along with the Hen Harriers that frequent the area. Really keep your eyes open around Whitebridge and you may even be treated to a sighting of the Golden and Sea Eagles that regularly fly past at height. The area is an outdoor activities haven, with hillwalking from the doorstep , bird watching from the garden and beyond. The Great Glen East trail goes right by the front door. There is an abundance of lochs around us for fishing, kayaking and wild swimming, you really are spoiled for choice. Fishing/boat tours can be arranged upon request either with our resident skipper on the big Loch itself privately where you might be lucky enough to see Nessie. Alternatively down in Fort Augustus or across in Foyers there are various choices for boat tours. There are several sporting estates in the area so if shooting/stalking is your thing then we can speak to the local gamekeepers and see if it possible (time of year) for you to experience this at an agreed price.
