We are a retired couple and moved here after falling in love with the area several years ago. We thoroughly enjoy sharing our unique and tranquil setting with our guests who come here from all over the UK and abroad to explore this beautiful part of the country.

Cwm Mill, The Old Bake House and River Cottage are all located on a 4.5 acre site comprising of the properties, gardens, parking / driveway areas and a small paddock. The properties are surrounded by a livestock farm with sheep & cattle. There is a direct footpath to the top of the Black Hill which then provides onward access to the Cat's Back ridge, Hay Bluff and Offa's Dyke, the once fortified boundary which the Normans established to separate Wales from England. The Black Mountains merge into the Brecon Beacons National Park where a wide range of activities are on offer. We're close to the Wye Valley & our area forms part of Herefordshire's Golden Valley, two areas of outstanding natural beauty. While we are in a very rural setting, we are within 30 minutes of the large and historic towns of Abergavenny and Hereford. Hay on Wye, the world famous town of books, is only 8.5 miles. Hay is an atmospheric and quirky small town with its own castle; numerous antique, craft, vintage clothing and crafts shops, cafes & bars.
