The accommodation comprises: a living room, kitchen diner, utility room, first floor landing, two double bedrooms and three-piece house bathroom. Outside there is garden to the front and an enclosed courtyard to the rear with outdoor store and garden furniture. On street parking is available at the front of the property.

Originally from Manchester, after visiting the Ribble Valley, myself and my husband were so smitten we decided to move here. We have found so many hidden gems whilst exploring with our dog, sampling the wonderful produce this area has to offer in the many inns and hostelries around the area!

Riverside Cottage is ideally situated in the pretty historic village of Whalley nestled on the banks of the River Calder, in the Ribble Valley. The majority designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the surrounding villages and country side is all within easy reach . The cottage is a short stroll to all the village's amenities whilst providing a peaceful and relaxing stay. The Ribble Valley is renowned for its fabulous food and you will find a range of bars, restaurants and eateries in the village itself and within a 7minute drive, the Michelin starred Northcote Manor. There are also plenty of independent shops, ranging from specialty wines to antiques, boutiques and gifts. On the last Sunday of the month there is an artisan market with locally produced crafts, gifts, street food and live music. There is the ancient 14th century Abbey and St Mary's 13th century church open to the public on the doorstep well worth a visit, as well as stunning picturesque Riverside and an ancient forest for leisurely walks. There are three excellent golf clubs nearby, the tennis and cricket club are within walking distance. The picturesque Ribble Valley is surrounded by rolling hills, stunning landscapes with an abundance of beautiful walks, bike trails and bridle paths all to be explored.
