Right in the heart of historic Mells village (rated as among the "20 most beautiful villages in the UK and Ireland" by Condé Nast Traveler)- 1 min walk to our local Mells Post Office cafe and shop, a 2 min stroll up to The Talbot Inn (gastro pub/hotel) wedding reception venue Mells Barn, The Walled Garden Cafe and plant nursery, St Andrew's Church (where you can visit the grave of famous war poet Siegfried Sassoon). 5 mins drive to Frome (Catherine Hill, Bistro Lotte etc, Frome market), 4 mins drive to Babington House (members club/wedding venue). 20 mins to Bruton (Hauser & Wirth, The Newt, The Chapel). 40 mins drive to Bath. Bus stop 2 mins walk away. A local taxi service operates from the village (8 min drive to Frome railway station or 20 min drive to Westbury train station for London). However most people drive (private drive in front of studio for your sole use during stay).
